Junior Infants have settled wonderfully into Castledrum National School.
The ease at with which they settled in can be attributed to our very wise old timers (a.k.a. Senior Infants) and their admirable efforts to show them the ropes!
We have made great strides in learning our letter sounds and can now read words like sit, cat, sack and dog.
We have been practicing writing words on our mini whiteboards and our letter formation is really improving.
We had lots of spooky fun in October and even experimented with making some ooey-gooey monster slime.
It was a super sticky concoction but we couldn’t resist getting our hands stuck in!
Hopefully we’ll have lots of new photographs to show you soon.
